Micro Credit Loan Scheme - Projek Titian Saksama Rakyat (PTSR)

Bridging Inequality, PTSR is a micro credit loan scheme with initial allocation of RM3 million

Objective are (1) to assist small entrepreneurs and (2) to encourage participation of the lowest income group to engage in trading as an effort to eradicate poverty
Managed by the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) with assistance from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

PTST IMPLEMENTATION

Interest free loan (maximum RM5,000) with repayment tenure of two (2) years

TARGET GROUP

Small traders who have business premises in Penang
